I’m extremely happy and humbled to report that Ginny Moon has won the Handi-Livres Award for Best Novel of 2017! My French editor, Hélène, accepted the award on my behalf in Paris last week. Here’s a video of the envelope being opened, and Hélène’s gracious speech. The award itself is on its way in the mail, so I’ll be sure to post more pictures when it arrives.
Absolutely loved Ginny Moon! Such insight into the mind of a complicated beautiful girl. As the mother of an adult daughter with special needs you really nailed it! I will recommend it for sure!
Hi JoAnn,
Thanks so much for writing! It means the world to me to know that you enjoyed Ginny Moon, especially since you have a daughter with special needs. They grow up fast, don’t they?
Cheers,
Ben
Read the entire book within a day. what great writing to grab your readers and bring us into a deep concern and caring for all the characters and expanding our understanding. One of the best books…and most intense…I have read in a long time. This is an Important book. Please keep writing. We want more.
Thanks, Lilian!
So glad to hear the book kept you turning the pages! I just finished another book, and sent it off to my agent. Will be sure to post updates in my newsletter at http://www.benjaminludwig.com/newsletter, if you’d like to follow its progress! Also, Ginny writes her own section each month, so you can see what she’s up to as well.
Thanks again,
Ben

Just read Ginny Moon. Well done. I thought your approach to the story through Ginny’ was brilliantly done. It helped me to understand what my grandson may be thinking in different situations (he is on the autism spectrum). Thank you!
So great to hear, Joan! Really appreciate the personal connection!
